BIEE建模 之 Administration 导入元数据时无法显示表

导入元数据时无法显示表，显示的是连接的数据源字符串，如下所示：



解决方法：
1、先安装Oracle客户端，再安装biee 客户端 Oracle客户端和数据库版本要一致
2、在安装Oracle客户端时，注意选择安装定制模式，勾选Oracle Call Interface(OCI)[组件]-----原因所在

Solution
Oracle database client software must be installed on the Windows PC where OBIEE Admin Tool is installed. If you are using a 64 bit Windows operating system, the Oracle client "bit level" must match that of the OBIEE Client Tools software. For example, if you are using Windows 7, 64 bit with OBIEE Admin Tool 64 bit, you must install a 64 bit version of the Oracle database client software.

1. You may download the Oracle database client software from the Oracle E-Delivery Software Cloud or alternatively, from the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) website. Ensure that the database client software you download matches the bit level of the OBIEE 11g client software on your Windows machine and the version of your Oracle database.

2.After installing the required database client software, set up a TNSNAMES.ORA entry for your Oracle database/Exadata server.

Then edit the bi_init.bat file in the \Program Files\Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Plus Client\oraclebi\orahome\bifoundation\server\bin folder and add the TNS_ADMIN environment variable. This variable will point to the location of the TNSNAMES.ORA file in your Oracle database client home. For example:

set TNS_ADMIN=C:\app\oracle\product\11.1.0\db_1\NETWORK\ADMIN

Setting this variable allows the OBIEE Admin Tool to locate the TNS alias entries.

1. After you have completed steps 1 through 3, the OBIEE Admin Tool import will now show all available schemas in step 3 of the Metadata Import Wizard as shown below:
