创建主题区域

甲骨文销售云中预定义的报表主题区域不可以修改。


You cannot modify a predefined report subject area that is delivered with Oracle Sales Cloud. Instead, you must

create separate custom subject areas to meet your reporting needs. Before you create a custom subject area, be

sure to review all the included subject areas to see if the one you want is already available.


对象可分为客制化对象与标准对象。

Objects in Oracle Sales Cloud can be classified under broad categories of custom objects and standard objects. The objects

that you create are called custom objects and those delivered with Oracle Sales Cloud are standard objects.

主对象是可报告的最高级对象。保存客制化主题区域后,不能更改主对象。

A primary object is any reportable top-level object. You create a custom subject area based on this primary object.

Additionally, the primary object is the focus of the report that you create based on the custom subject area.

The list of available primary objects includes all reportable objects, which are either top-level, custom objects, or standard

objects that are configured as reportable by the owning Oracle Sales Cloud application. After you save your custom subject

area, you can't change its primary object; however, you can create another custom subject area using a different primary

object.

子对象是与主对象有一对多关系的对象。子对象也可以作为主对象,对应多个子对象。层级不超过三层。发布客制化主题区域后,不能增删子对象。

A child object is an object that has one-to-many relationship with a parent object and can be a parent object of another child

object. If an object's parent object is already a child object (of another parent object) then the object is a grandchild object.

Custom subject areas support parent-child-grandchild-grand grandchild objects.



For key objects in Oracle Sales Cloud, predefined extension dimensions exist which include custom or extended fields. These

fields enable you to create reports on extensions that are made to standard objects.

When you submit a custom subject area for publishing, two processes occur in the background. The first process is

synchronous and creates Oracle Applications Development Framework (Oracle ADF) artifacts. You must wait until this first

process is over. The second process is asynchronous and creates centralized metadata repository (RPD) fragments and

submits them to the Oracle BI server.

Resource team: A resource team is a temporary group of resources formed to complete a business task. A resource team cannot be hierarchically structured and is not intended to implement an organization.

资源团队:一个资源团队是指临时组合起来,为了完成业务任务的资源组。一个资源团队不能够是有分层机构的(跨层级),也不是为了实现组织结构。

Resource Role: You use the resource roles to define provisioning rules. For example, a provisioning rule can assign the Sales Manager job role to a user with the Sales Manager resource role.

资源角色:你可以使用资源角色去定义预配置规则。例如,一个预配置规则能够实现指派销售经理资源角色给用户的同时指派了销售经理职务角色。

 

Resource Directory: The Resource Directory offers detailed information about all the resources within the deploying organization. The Resource Directory also enables you to find and communicate with other resources, and to network and collaborate with them.

资源目录:资源目录提供了部署机构的所有资源详细信息。资源目录允许你找到其他资源并与其交流,实现交际与合作。

Resource Organization: You create sales resources and provision permissions the resources need to do their jobs. In the process, you also build the organization chart of your sales organization.

Account 中的不同ID含义

Party Id - is internal unique identifier generated by Fusion Apps, and used as foreign key in all references.

Party Number - public unique identifier, displayed in application as Registry ID. 

OrganizationProfileId : This will be key for table HZ_ORGANIZATION_PROFILES which will be storing organization specific details.


The customer data management setup involves reviewing and defining the configuration required to manage customer information and their business relationships.

You can use customer data management functionality to:

Prevent and identify duplicate data: You can identify duplicates during real-time or in a pre-configured batch. Real-time account and contact searching and matching prevents creation of duplicate data. You can identify potential duplicate data based on pre-configured matching configurations.

Verify and standardize addresses: You can perform real-time and batch address cleansing for account or contact address information. You can verify and cleanse addresses within an import batch during import. The addresses are verified against the master geography area and cleansed. The geography validation feature can also be enabled to check if the entered address maps to the geography hierarchy data available for the country.

Resolve duplicate data: You can merge and link duplicate records to create master records that are the single source of truth. You can de-duplicate within an import batch as well as within the entire database. Customer data management uses a data quality engine to consolidate high quality account and contact data from multiple sources, manage duplicate data, enhance data with third-party content, standardize addresses, and monitor data quality. These data quality checks ensure cleansed, enriched, and complete customer information that can be trusted by the sales team.

Four common role types are used in reports and analytics:

  • Job Roles (enterprise-wide roles, also referred to as Fusion Applications Enterprise Roles)

    A Job Role represents the job definition of a person in your organization, for example, AP manager, HR specialist. Users are assigned to Job Roles. A Job Role inherits one or more Duty Roles, and therefore, users inherit Duty Roles through Job Roles. For example, the Job Role AP_ACCOUNTS_PAYABLE_MANAGER_JOB might be associated with the Duty Role RUN_ACCOUNTS_PAYABLE_REPORT_DUTY.

  • Duty Roles (application-wide roles, also referred to as Application Roles)

    A Duty Role represents a specific task needed to do a job, and comprises the privileges required to perform that job. For example, the Duty Role RUN_ACCOUNTS_PAYABLE_REPORT_DUTY enables a user to run the Accounts Payable report. The privileges assigned to a Duty Role are defined in application policies within the policy store.   • Data Roles (enterprise-wide roles)

    A Data Role is implemented as Job Roles for a defined set of data. This role describes the job a user does within that defined set of data. The Data Role inherits a Job Role and is granted applicable data security privileges.

    • Data Roles grant specific data to users. For example, HR Admin UK has access to all UK employees, or Sales Rep West Coast can access West Coast customer accounts. Data Roles are built at the customer site as they are data dependant.

    • Data Roles are built using Job Role and permission grants on custom data. For example:

      An Accounts Payables Specialist might be assigned the Data Role 'Accounts Payables Specialist - US Business Unit'. This Data Role inherits the Job Role 'Accounts Payable Specialist' and grants access to transactions in the US Business Unit.

      A Benefits Administrator is assigned the Data Role 'Benefits Administrator - Surname A-E'. This Data Role inherits the Job Role 'Benefits Administrator' and grants access to Employees with the Surname starting from A to E. Typically, a person is hired into a job, which might trigger an event to automatically assign a Job Role without being assigned a defined set of data. A person in a functional department might at a later point in time assign his staff a Data Role that describes the job of that person within that defined set of data.

      Data roles can be provisioned to a user on request. Data Roles can be formed by declaring child Duty, Abstract, and Job Roles.

  • Abstract Roles (enterprise-wide roles)

    These roles are associated with a user irrespective of their job or job function, and are not associated with a job or duty. For example, Employee (Human Resources), Manager (Human Resources), Customer, Supplier etc. Abstract Roles are normally assigned by the system (based on user attributes) but can be provisioned to a user on request.

BI用户需要选择默认货币后,才能在报表中查看收入相关字段的数据.
